Elephone S3 has 5.2inch bezel-less 2.5D Arc screen and FHD Incell display and 3D curved glass. Its screen resolution is up 1920×1080 pixels,424 PPI to watch the video more clearly. This bezelless smartphone has two classic bars, one is on the top with receiver and front camera, while the bottom bar has nothing, Meanwhile, it uses metal unibody with CNC cutting technology, But Elephone S3 didn’t support USB Type C port which lets us disappointed. According to the overall design, Elephone S3 is full of portability and fashion for me. I can take or bring it and hold in one hand freely.
Hardware
Elephone S3 is powered by MTK6753 Octa core 1.3Ghz processor, and Mali-T720 GPU, although it’s the old processor compared with some models like UMI Super, it still runs fast to play games by MTK6753 Octa core processor. Because elephone S3 is the one which attaches more importance to its design and functions, Elephone decides to use the classic processor to let you play the smartphone more stable by this processor. Meanwhile, it has RAM 3GB and ROM 16GB extended to 128GB internal storage, which double the running speed to do multi-tasking like playing games, watching tv, reading e-books, etc. So after long using of most users, it has tested MTK6753 Octa core processor is much stable.
Camera
When we choose a smartphone, we also care much about its dual camera, Elephone s3 has 5.0MP OV5670 front camera, 13.0MP Sony IMX135 camera with flashlight And auto focus back camera, I have tried to take the pictures by the back camera indoors, it shows very clear pictures without exposure and white balance. It’s not so clear when i take photos at the night. I guess elephone should improve its smartphone to take nice pictures in the evening, so i can enjoy more night viewing.
Battery
We have to let you down that Elephone S3 just has 2100mAh battery which is non-removable. Compared with those over 3,000mAh battery, Elephone S3 said to support up to 150 hours standby time and 8 hours talk time. It still behaves not so strong in its battery. It’s lucky that Elephone S3 can support quick charge technology, i can charge it full fast in one hour. But i have to mention that we should charge Elephone S3 smartphone every day if we do heavy use.
Other functions
Elephone S3 can support dual sim card, dual standby, fast charge, off screen wake up, 4G LTE Network and touch ID functions.Of course, it can support multi-language so i can set up in my mother tongue. Meanwhile, it has GPS and A-GPS function to position well for us. The other nice feature is that it run Android6.0 OS. I can not only enjoy the design but also the latest OS i like.
Conclusion
I believe Elephone S3 has made great progress in its personal bezel-less design and all metal unibody, the hardware with MTK6753 is good for me to play games, and other functions like 4G LTE, GPS, Touch ID, multilanguage are really practical for me. As for its battery, i think Elephone S3 should do better, especially for those heavy users. And i guess if the camera can take the nice photos in the evening, i will highly recommend this smartphone. After all, in view of its design, it’s quite attractive with high quality. Believe or not, experience first.
