Like its first Redmi TV 70, this new Redmi TV Max arrives with an ultra-slim design, standing out mainly for its virtually non-existent bezels also made of aluminum alloy. Its 4K LCD screen with HDR support reaches 98 inches in size and boasts an 85% NTSC color gamut. In addition, it adds a dynamic 192-level backlight enhancing the display effect.
Inside we find a powerful 4-core 64-bit processor made in 12nm that is combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Some pretty remarkable features for a TV. Redmi TV MAX 98 has a total of 3 HDMI, 2 USB, AV Input, S / PDIF, Bluetooth 4.2 low consumption and WiFi 802.11ac. It also supports Dolby sound and DTS-HD panoramic audio.
As with the rest of Xiaomi televisions, this second Redmi television uses Patchwall, a curious layer of personalization based on Android TV that is characterized by its highly intuitive user interface.
Price and Availability
The price of this new Redmi Smart TV reaches 1,999 yuan (about $282). A fairly high price but not so much if we take into account its benefits and above all, its size. Its release for sale will take place on April 9, and it is unlikely that we will see this new Redmi TV MAX 98-Inch for sale beyond the Chinese borders.
