Mobvoi, a popular company founded in 2012, manufactures accessories like watches, earphones, yesterday launched its latest smartwatch in the Indian market, called TicWatch Pro 3, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC and is based on Google’s Wear OS. . Earlier, Mobvoi’s new smartwatch was launched in the US and UK on 25th September 2020.
TicWatch Pro 3 is the first smartwatch in the world to use Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset, which increases the CPU performance by 85%, and GPU performance by 150%. And it reduces power consumption by around 25% as we compared it to the previous-gen Snapdragon 3100 chip.
Not only that, the watch has a 1.4-inch round AMOLED display as well as a secondary FSTN (Film Compensated Super Twisted Nematic) display with a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels. The manufacturer has named this display variant ‘Dual Display 2.0’.
Speaking of other specifications, the TicWatch Pro 3 has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The new smartwatch has a 595mAh battery that gives the backup of up to 72 hours in Smart Mode and up to 45 days in Essential Mode. In addition, it has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Not only that, the watch has GNS, Baidu, GLONASS, Galileo, etc. GNSS (Satellite System on Global) support. The online payment service Google Pay has special NFC support for access.
Additionally, the smartwatch has a PPG heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer and ambient light sensor. A microphone and speakers are also available for making calls. You will also get two control buttons. With all these features, users will not need to carry their own phone during the workout. This watch can even be used instead of a smartphone for navigation.
This wearable accessory is only available in the GPS version, as Mobvoi has not yet announced its worldwide alternative. It comes with a diameter of 48mm and a thickness of 12.2mm. It can be purchased from the official website of Amazon India and Mobvoi from today i.e. 20th October. The price will be around Rs 26,999.
