The Xiaomi Mi 11 unveiled earlier this week is the only smartphone on the market right now with a Snapdragon 888 SoC. However, several brands are preparing to launch smartphones with Qualcomm’s new processor, one of which is Nubia. Because a new leak reveals the results of testing the new Nubia NX669J smartphone in the Geekbench benchmark. This unit being equipped with the new Snapdragon 888.
As we can see in the image below, the Nubia NX669J runs Android 11 as an operating system and has 8GB of RAM. The results are somewhat modest for the processor, with 1004 points in single-core tests and 3306 points in multi-core tests. Even so, remember that this is a pre-production unit, so the final product can achieve much higher results.
In addition to some features, it is still a mystery to the public what this smartphone will be. The Chinese company will be about to launch a new top-of-the-range Z-Series line that will be equipped with the new Snapdragon 888, but there are no references as to whether this Nubia NX669J model matches this new series.
Thus, advances the GSM Arena that the unit tested in the Geekbench may even be a prototype of the Red Magic 6, a gaming smartphone that will succeed in 2021 to the Red Magic 5G and 5S. As this is not confirmed by any official source, we will have to wait for more data from the manufacturer to know everything about this mysterious smartphone from Nubia.
