Kingston released three new SSD solid-state drives at CES 2021, including two NVMe solid-state drives and one mobile hard drive.
Kingston today released a video introducing these three products:
The first is the NV1 entry-level NVMe solid-state drive. This product uses M.2 interface, supports PCIe 3.0 x4 protocol, and has a maximum capacity of 2TB.
Followed by the flagship model Ghost Tree NVMe SSD. This product supports the latest PCIe 4.0 x4 protocol, has 8 data channels, and the continuous read and write speed can reach 7000MB/s, which is significantly higher than the Samsung 980 Pro PCIe 4.0 solid state drive. In addition to top speed performance, the product also provides 1TB-4TB capacity to choose from, which can meet professional video editing and other purposes, providing a smooth experience.
The third model is the XS2000 mobile solid-state drive. This product is small in size, with aluminium alloy shells on both sides to provide heat dissipation, a rubber protective cover on the outside, and an indicator light on the interface.
The product uses Type-C interface, supports USB 3.2 Gen2 x2, and the theoretical bandwidth can reach 20Gbps. The XS2000 mobile hard disk has a maximum speed of 2000MB/s and provides a capacity of 500GB-2TB to choose from. This product is suitable for laptops such as Apple MacBooks with insufficient built-in SSD capacity. Although the price has not yet been announced, it is definitely more cost-effective than buying a large-capacity MacBook.

In addition, Kingston also released the DC1500M enterprise-class solid-state hard drive, which uses 96-layer TLC flash memory, and the hard drive has a PCIe 4.0 U.2 interface. The price and release date of these products have not yet been announced.
