Huami Technology has released a new smartwatch Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM. The original version of this model was released in September 2020. As a new member of the Amazfit GTR 2 series, the new Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM watch has a built-in independent communication module that supports 4G independent calls and 4G mobile network services from China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom.
It is reported that when the user opens the eSIM No. 1 dial terminal or watch independent number service, Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM can realize independent 4G calls, 4G networking, and SMS sending and receiving services without connecting to a mobile phone. Even if you forget to bring your mobile phone when you go out, you can receive calls and messages in time.
In appearance, the new model received a round case with a diagonal of 1.39 ”and a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels (326 pnd). The display has a color gamut of 100% NTSC, and the maximum brightness can reach 450 nits.
This Smartwatch also has a built-in GPS and supports the GLONASS navigation system. For active people, support is provided for 90 sports, there is round-the-clock heart rate monitoring, measurement of blood oxygen level (SpO2), sleep tracking, PAI, and NFC support is provided. According to the company, the autonomy of the watch is up to 96 hours in normal use. If you do not use its “smart” features, it will take up to 2 weeks.
The first region where Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM will appear on sale will be China. The watch is priced at $305. For those who pre-order, the price has been reduced to $289. Open sales will begin on April 9th.
