IPhone 13 Pro Brand New Concept Renderings: Touch ID May Return

It has been a long time since the launch of the iPhone 12 series. Apple will announce its new product lineup in the fall of 2021. Four other models are expected to be launched. In addition to the basic iPhone 13, there is also a Mini and two high-quality Pro models. Of course, there are also rumors that Apple chose the name iPhone 12s this year instead of the unfortunate number “13.”

Regardless of the model name, LetsGoDigital said that the difference between iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max this year seems to be smaller than ever. Although Pro and Pro Max will still differ in display size and battery capacity, other specifications (such as cameras) are likely to remain balanced.

In recent months, many details about the iPhone 2021 series have surfaced. According to all rumors, Dutch designer Jermaine Smit has collaborated with LetsGoDigital to produce a series of 3D renderings of the expected iPhone 13 Pro.

The iPhone 13 Pro version seems to have improved in several ways. In addition to a better camera, the device may also be equipped with a better screen and smaller bangs. In addition, the fingerprint sensor (Touch ID) will be placed below the screen for the first time. Of course, the chipset and software will also be updated.

Broadly speaking, the overall design of the phone has not changed much. It is expected to maintain a 6.1-inch display size, making the iPhone 13 Pro an ideal smartphone for one-handed operation —especially with the new “reachable” that debuted in the iPhone 12 series. “Sexual” model combined. iPhone 13 Pro will also be equipped with a ProMotion screen for the first time, which is more energy-efficient and also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The 120Hz ProMotion OLED screen has been used on the iPad Pro for some time.

Apple is also expected to provide its new Pro models with the “Interactive Screen Display” function. This is already more common in Android phones. Of course, this feature requires a lot of batteries. In addition, Touch ID seems to be returning again. This time the fingerprint sensor is expected to be placed below the display screen, making it more convenient. Users only need to place their fingers on the screen to unlock the device. And presumably ultrasonic sensors will be used instead of optical sensors. If the screen/finger is dirty or wet, the ultrasonic sensor is relatively better for biometric authentication. In addition, Face ID will continue to exist. Although this year’s iPhone 13 Pro will still adopt the notch design, the size of the “bangs” may be slightly reduced.

Apple is also expected to make necessary improvements in the camera field. It may have a triple camera on the rear, as last year, it will also integrate a LiDAR scanner for accurate 3D depth measurement. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the iPhone 13 Pro (Max) will be equipped with a better ultra-wide-angle camera (f/1.8) and a larger image sensor to achieve better low-light performance. The ultra-wide-angle lens will also be equipped with a sensor-shift optical image stabilization system with an autofocus function, which can achieve clearer shooting. This will make the camera module thicker than before.

In addition, Apple seems to choose to integrate a telephoto lens in both the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max this year-this is already used in the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Therefore, the difference between the two Pro models becomes smaller, and the choice between the two models will depend more on the required screen size.

Of course, the new iPhone models will use the latest and most powerful chipsets to date. It is expected to be the A15 Bionic processor. This 5nm chip is currently manufactured by TSMC. Compared with the A14 Bionic, which is also baked in the 5nm process, the performance is slightly improved. Next year, the first 3nm chip is expected to come from TSMC, presumably, this will be the A16 Bionic for the iPhone 14 series.

According to reports, Apple will also integrate a new 5G modem in the iPhone 13 Pro, which supports the Sub-6Ghz frequency band and the ultra-fast millimeter-wave frequency band. In addition, the new iPhone will support WiFi 6e. The “extended” version is based on WiFi 6 and provides additional frequency bands (6Ghz) to achieve a more stable network and less delay. Due to the high frequency, the range is more limited than the existing 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands-these two bands are still available.

Finally, Apple seems to be planning to slightly increase battery capacity. For the iPhone 13 Pro, there is a 3095mAh battery. In contrast, the battery capacity of the iPhone 12 Pro is 3046mAh. However, the overall battery life of the new machine may not be any different, especially because of the extra energy-consuming 120Hz screen used this time.

The iPhone 13 series is expected to be released again in September. According to EveryThingApplePro, the iPhone 13 Pro will be available in five colors: white, off-white, orange/bronze, dark blue, and dark gray.
