He said that this phone will be equipped with a 7.8 to 8-inch OLED folding inner screen, 2K resolution + 120Hz refresh rate, and is expected to use a folding method similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series.
The appearance of this phone has not yet been exposed, but the whistleblower said that the phone will use the side fingerprint recognition method, the front 32MP camera, and the rear main camera uses the recently frequently appeared 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. In addition, the mobile phone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, pre-installed with the ColorOS 12 system based on Android 11, and it is useless to use the Android 12 kernel.
The Omdia Research Institute reported earlier this year that OPPO and Vivo will have folding screen smartphones entering the market. According to previous reports, the internal screen supplier of the OPPO folding screen mobile phone is Samsung, and the external screen supplier is BOE, which uses LTPO technology. This phone is expected to use UTG ultra-thin glass technology to improve look and feel and durability.
