Will Huawei phones continue without 5G chips? The answer is yes.

Huawei will release its new Mate 50 series flagship phones early next year, according to a report by Deepnet. Mate 50 is powered partly by kirin 990 chips and partly by Qualcomm 898 chips, but only in 4G versions.

Huawei’s Mate 50 series is expected to debut in the first quarter of next year, most likely in March, according to earlier leaks.

It should come as no surprise that the Mate 50 series will be further improved in terms of screen and camera, and from what we’ve seen so far, the hardware is only one 5G less than that of the same price range.

It is worth mentioning that the phone will carry Hongmeng OS 2.0 system. As for the actual first sales, probably after the first quarter.

In addition, Huawei’s mobile phone business will continue to move forward. According to reports, Yu chengdong recently said in a consumer business internal publicity meeting, Huawei mobile will continue to do, in 2023 to return to the king.

In September this year, Xu Zhijun, Huawei’s rotating chairman, said in an interview that Huawei has been surviving on inventory since the sanctions were imposed, and solving the chip problem requires the joint efforts of China’s semiconductor industry chain, which requires tremendous efforts and a considerable amount of time.
