At CES 2017, Pico as a Chinese VR brand has released a Pico Neo CV, all-in-one VR headset which is the brother of Pico Neo DK. Pico Neo CV has two 1.5K AMOLED displays 90Hz, built in speaker and AM3D rendering engine, etc. Users can use this Pico Neo CV to have a complet 6 Degrees of freedom, which has complete place tracking technology, and it doesn’t need to connect smartphone, PC, or other video, game control devices by a cable.
Pico Neo CV is equipped with the first Snapdragon 820 64bit Quad core CPU, Adreno 530 GPU, compatible with RAM 4GB LPDDR4-1866 AND 32gb eMMC 5.1 hard drive, and it can be expanded to 128GB by SD card, which is better than the performance of the PC.
According to Pico Vice CEO Paul Viglienzone, they regard customers first as the concept to design Pico Neo CV with brilliant Pico technology team, making users put it on the computer, control platform, or smartphones simply, and he added the as th first global innovative and technological center, CES will be the first platform to show their Pico Neo CV. They will make breakthrough in this year about their VR.
At CES 2017, Pico will show its tracking kits and Pico Neo DK and Pico Neo CV VR Headset.
