The Red Magic 7S / 7S Pro was officially released at 3 pm today. As the flagship gaming phone, the Red Magic 7S series are all equipped with Snapdragon 8+ processors, of which the Red Magic 7S Pro also has Red Magic and Aiwei. Jointly developed Red Core 1 independent game chip.
At the beginning of the press conference, Red Magic made a mid-year summary, announcing that the sales volume of Red Magic will increase by 30% in 2022, ranking first in the global high-end gaming mobile phone market share.
In terms of configuration, the Red Magic 7S Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ processor, LPDDR5 memory, and UFS 3.1 flash memory. Its CPU and GPU performance is improved by 10% and power consumption is reduced by 30%. AnTuTu scored 1,156,044 points.
The Red Magic 7S Pro has the ICE 10.0 magic cooling system: the total heat dissipation material area is 43525mm², of which the VC soaking plate is 4124mm², and the machine has a 20000 rpm high-speed centrifugal fan (4dB noise reduction) + shark fin vortex air duct (air volume wind pressure increase by 6%) + deuterium front metal heat sink + ultra-flexible high thermal conductivity rare earth material + new composite phase change material (graphene + n-hexane).
The entire Red Magic 7S series is equipped with a Magic GPU self-developed stable frame engine, which supports rendering and imaging synchronization, a five-fold rendering buffer, intelligent recognition of TC supplementary frames, and a Magic Write magic sketch.
In terms of actual game performance, the Red Magic 7S Pro has an average frame rate of 59.7 frames in the extremely high image quality of “Genshin Impact”, the standard deviation of the frame rate fluctuation is only 0.4, and the back is up to 39.5°C. In the ultra-high image quality operation of “Honor of Kings”, the average frame rate is 120 frames, the standard deviation of the frame rate fluctuation is only 0.3, and the back is up to 38.8°C.
In terms of screen, the Red Magic 7S Pro screen is a 6.8-inch AMOLED UDC full-screen camera under the screen, with a tripod-shaped pixel arrangement in the under-screen area, a screen resolution of 2400×1080, a 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, 10bit color depth, support DC dimming, using the seventh-generation ultra-thin under-screen fingerprint and supporting heart rate detection.
In terms of battery life, the Red Magic7S Pro has a built-in 5000mAh dual-cell battery that supports 135W fast charging and can be fully charged in 15 minutes. It is worth mentioning that the machine comes standard with a 165W gallium nitride charging head.
In terms of other configurations, the Red Magic7S Pro uses the Red Core No. 1 independent game chip, has dual speakers, dual X-axis linear motors, dual independent IC touch shoulder keys with a sampling rate of 520Hz, supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 enhanced version, games 3 microphones, keep the 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of imaging, the Red Magi 7S Pro has a front-facing 16-megapixel lens and a rear-mounted three-camera design, 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel wide-angle, and 2-megapixel macro.
In terms of color matching, the Red Magic 7S Pro has 4 colors: Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wing, Deuterium Front Transparent Shadow, Dark Knight, and Transformers Bumblebee Limited Collection Edition. The IP co-branded product includes a Bumblebee customized version of the Red Magic7S Pro, as well as a variety of accessories such as turbo cooling back clip, 165W GaN charger + data cable, thermal protection case, card pins, etc., providing theme UI customization.
The Red Magic 7S uses a 6.8-inch AMOLED full screen with a resolution of 2400×1080, 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 10bit color depth, supports LTM dimming, DC dimming, adopts the seventh-generation ultra-thin screen fingerprint, supports Heart rate detection. It is worth mentioning that the Red Magic 7S will launch the QQ Speed 165Hz mode for the first time, and the first batch will be adapted to the 165Hz mode of “Battle of the Golden Shovel”.
The Red Magic 7S is also equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ processor and has a MAGIC GPU self-developed frame stabilization engine, but it is only the ICE9.0 magic cooling system. Compared with the Red Magic 7S Pro, there is one less layer of composite phase change material. In terms of battery life, the Red Magic7S has a built-in 4500mAh dual-cell battery, supports 120W fast charging, and can fully charge the phone in 17 minutes, and also comes standard with 165W fast charging.
In terms of imaging, the Red Magic7S has a front 8-megapixel lens and a rear three-camera design, which are 64MP main cameras, 8MP wide-angle, and 2MP macros.
In terms of color matching, the Red Magic7S has two colors: Shadow Knight and Deuterium Front Transparent.
