Xiaomi has been operating its POCO brand in overseas markets. On August 29, POCO announced that it will hold an online event on September 5 to unveil the new POCO M5 / M5s.
Pricebaba reported yesterday that sources said Xiaomi POCO M5s will come in three colour schemes, namely gray, blue and white. In storage, the machine will provide 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+ 128GB three storage specifications. No additional information was available on the aircraft’s other configuration.
As for Xiaomi POCO M5 standard, previous leaks have revealed that it is expected to feature a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD screen with Mediatek’s Helio G99 chip, three storage specifications are available: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+ 128GB.
In terms of battery life, POCO M5 standard version will have a built-in 5000mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. It also runs Android 12-based MIUI 13 and comes with a side fingerprint, USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for the price, sources say the starting price may be less than 15,000 Indian rupees (about 1303.5 yuan).

igeekphone has learned that Mediatek released its Helio G99 chip in May this year, which is built on TSMC’s 6nm process and features two Cortex-A76 cores at up to 2.2ghz and six Cortexa-55 cores at up to 2GHz. The GPU is mali-G57 MC2.
