Google has announced that it will hold an event on October 6 at 23:00 Beijing time, where it will unveil a number of new accessories, including Pixel 7 / Pro phones and Pixel Watch smartwatches. The Pixel 7 / Pro series will have a Tensor G2 processor.
According to WinFuture’s Roland Quand today, both models of Google’s Pixel 7 line will only be available in two storage sizes, ranging from 256GB to 128GB. At the same time, the Pixel 7 line of phones does not support storage expansion with a MicroSD card. Quandt says this may be because Google wants users to use its cloud services. Shipping time is expected to begin within two weeks after the release of the Pixel 7 series.
For reference, Google’s previously released Pixel 6 line also comes with 128GB and 256GB storage options, but the Pixel 6 Pro also comes with 512GB storage options to accommodate user needs. In addition, on September 8, Apple announced its iPhone 14 lineup, with the iPhone 14 Pro offering up to 1 terabyte of storage.
As previously reported by Igeekphone, the Pixel 7 / Pro’s full image specs have previously been revealed, with whistleblower Kuba pointing out that both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will use the 11MP Samsung 3J1 as the front sensor, it uses the same Samsung GN1 main sensor and SONY IMX381 ultra wide Angle sensor as the previous generation. The difference is that the telephoto sensor has been changed to Samsung GM1 in this year’s Pro.

Additionally, Google Pixel 7/7 Pro has been certified by the FCC, which shows that it supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and NFC capabilities. Previous leaks have revealed that Google’s Pixel 7 series will feature a 2K flexible screen.
