On August 11, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi K50 Premium. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and starts at 2,999 yuan. Redmi’s next flagship phone, the new Redmi K60 series, has been revealed by a blogger today.
According to the digital blogger @digital chat site today, two of the new Redmi K60 series phones using Snapdragon platform are equipped with the new 2K flexible straight screen, which uses eye protection and dimming scheme. Meanwhile, when asked whether the Redmi K60 standard version supports 120W fast charging, the blogger replied, “Suspension, super large battery solution”.
The blogger also said that the Redmi K60 series new phones are not only powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, there are also models powered by Mediatek Dimensity processor, and the naming division of the new Redmi K60 series phones is not yet confirmed. Some netizens have speculated that the Redmi K60 standard edition will be equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip, the K60 Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and the K60 esports edition will be equipped with Dimensity 8100 iterative chip.
As previously revealed by the blogger, the new Redmi K60 series will have a 50 megapixel large background main camera and two fast charging solutions with 100-watt batteries. And the fingerprint under the optical screen, which many users expect, will also return.
iGeekphone has learned that Redmi’s previously released Redmi K50 Super has a 6.67-inch 2712×1220 flexible OLED straight screen with 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of imaging, Redmi K50 Super has a front-facing 20MP (SONY IMX596) lens. Rear 108MP (Samsung S5KHM6, OIS) main camera + 8MP (Samsung S5K4H7) ultra wide Angle + 2MP (GCO Micro GC02M1) macro lens composed of three camera system.

In other aspects, Redmi K50 Super edition built-in 5000mAh battery, supporting 120W fast charge, 19 minutes to charge to 100%, 8.6mm thick, weight 202G, equipped with stereo dual speakers, X axis motor, supporting NFC, infrared remote control, IP53 dust and waterproof, pre-installing the MIUI 13 system.
