On August 11, Xiaomi unveiled Redmi K50 Premium. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 mobile platform and starts at 2,999 yuan. Redmi’s next flagship phone, the new Redmi K60 series, has been revealed by a blogger today.
Redmi K60 series has so far tested a 120W fast charge only for the “most powerful” model, which is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, according to a digital blogger. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform uses a 5,500mah battery instead of a 120W wired fast charge, which may be due to the lack of internal space. Meanwhile, the blogger said the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform also offers a lot of improvements over its predecessors. For reference, Redmi K50 standard edition comes with a 67W fast charge.
In the comments section of the Weibo post, some users asked when Xiaomi would release a phone with a 200W fast charge. “Don’t worry,” the blogger replied, implying that Xiaomi will soon launch a model with a 200W fast charge.
According to the blogger’s previous Revelations, two of the new Redmi K60 series phones with Snapdragon platform are equipped with the new 2K flexible straight screen, which uses eye protection and dimming scheme. Meanwhile, the new Redmi K60 series phones are not only equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, but also equipped with Mediatek Dimensity processor. Currently, the naming division of the new Redmi K60 series phones is uncertain.
Redmi previously released the Redmi K50 Supreme with a 6.67-inch 2712×1220 flexible OLED straight screen and 120Hz refresh rate. For video, the Redmi K50 Supreme has a front-facing 20MP (SONY IMX596) lens. It has rear 108MP (Samsung S5KHM6, OIS) main camera + 8MP (Samsung S5K4H7) ultra wide Angle + 2MP (GCO Micro GC02M1) macro lens composed of three camera system.

In other aspects, Redmi K50 Super edition is built-in 5000mAh battery supporting 120W fast charge, 19 minutes to charge to 100%, 8.6mm thick, weight 202G, equipped with stereo dual speakers, X axis motor, supporting NFC, infrared remote control, IP53 dust and waterproof, pre-install the MIUI 13 system.
