Officially this new phone is available in three colors: Time Blue, Shimmer Green, and Midnight Black. What we have is the Midnight Black version, which is both glossy and matte, and has a trendy small vertical edge design. It is as thin as 7.9mm and weighs about 181 grams.
Compared with the existing Pro version, the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition replaces the processor from MediaTek Dimensity 1080 to Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, TSMC 6nm process, and the overall performance can be improved by nearly 20%.
The image has also been upgraded. The main camera has been replaced by a 50MP Sony IMX766 with a 100MP, 1/1.52-inch outsole, 2.1-micron fusion large pixels, and supports Xiaomi’s image brain and film cameras.
Other configurations remain unchanged, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition continues many selling points such as a 6.67-inch OLED flexible straight screen, 5000mAh battery, 67W flagship flash charge, X-axis linear motor, and multi-function NFC.
