ColorOS has just announced its latest operating system, ColorOS 13.0 x Android 13. The OPPO Reno7 SE 5G smartphone is now ready for its official upgrade to this latest version.
The OPPO Reno 7 SE boasts a powerful Dimensity 900 chip and features a 6.43-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a large 4500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and is equipped with a high-performance graphite sheet and VC vapor chamber. In terms of cameras, the Reno 7 SE has a 16MP front-facing camera and a 48MP triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48MP primary camera (IMX581 with f/1.7), a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP black and white lens.
It’s important to note that this upgrade will not erase user data. However, it’s recommended to back up any important personal information before upgrading. Additionally, there may be compatibility issues with some third-party applications after upgrading to Android 13. The store will work to update these apps to the latest version, but there may still be issues such as crashes, freezing, black screens, and high power consumption.
For two days after the upgrade, the system will perform a series of optimization actions in the background, which may result in the phone overheating, freezing, and quickly consuming power. To avoid this, it’s recommended to turn off the screen and charge the phone for 2 hours before restarting it after upgrading. If this is not possible, the phone should recover on its own after everyday use.
To upgrade to ColorOS 13.0, first, make sure your phone is running the basic version C.09. Then, go to “Settings > About This Machine > Version Information” and click on “Settings in the upper right corner > Early adopters application > ColorOS 13 official version.” Agree to the Privacy Policy, apply now, and then check for updates to download and install the new version of ColorOS 13.0.
