The highly anticipated launch of the latest vivo V27 series in India is just around the corner. The series is expected to include the vivo V27 and V27 Pro models, with the vivo V27e model being released later. Industry sources from PriceBaba have revealed that the recommended retail price for the vivo V27 Pro is 41,999 Indian rupees, roughly 3,482 yuan. However, early discounts are expected to lower the cost to slightly below 40,000 Indian rupees, equivalent to around 3316 yuan. The base model of the vivo V27 Pro will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and an additional option with 256GB storage is expected. The phone will be available in Magic Blue and Noble Black color options.
The Google Play Management Center database reveals that the vivo V27 Pro (V2230) is equipped with a high-resolution 1080x2400px display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip with 8GB of memory. It will also run on the latest Android 13 operating system. The phone boasts a 50MP Sony IMX766 front camera, one of its standout features. On the other hand, the vivo V27e (V2230) comes with a 1080x2400px display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chip paired with 8GB of RAM. It will also come pre-installed with the latest Android 13 system.
As for the standard version of the vivo V27, its price remains unknown at this point. However, it is speculated that the phone will feature a curved screen and could be the first to be equipped with the latest 4nm mid-range chip, the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, which was just recently released.
In comparison, the vivo V25 Pro will be launched in India towards the end of August 2022 with a starting price of 40,000 Indian rupees (approximately 3,316 yuan). Meanwhile, the vivo V25 will retail for 33,000 Indian rupees, equivalent to around 2,736 yuan.
Interestingly, the vivo V27 series appears closely related to the vivo S16 series of mobile phones available in the Chinese market. The vivo S16 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chip, while the vivo S16 features the Snapdragon 870 chip. Lastly, the vivo S16e comes with the Samsung Exynos 1080 processor, which is 5G compatible.
