Samsung had previously upgraded its firmware support policy from two years to three, and later promised to support four major updates to major versions of Android for some devices.
In short, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series (igeekphone note: includes the S21 FE) and every S flagship phone after that is eligible for four major OS upgrades. The same applies to the Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73 and newer models.
Android 13 will be the last major operating system update for the following Galaxy phones and tablets. These Samsung devices will not get the Android 14 and One UI 6.0 updates, but they will continue to receive security patches for some time. If a user’s device is running an operating system version earlier than Android 13 and is not listed, they will not receive the Android 14 update.

Samsung has yet to confirm when it will release the One UI 6.0 update based on Android 14. At the same pace as Android 13, Samsung’s next major operating system update is expected for some Galaxy phones and tablets before the end of 2023.
The latest Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra are expected to be the first to update Android 14 and One UI 6.0, This will be followed by the older S-series flagship as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 (expected in August), which are expected to come preloaded with the One UI 5.1.1 update.
