To access the Lower realms, the player must build a Lower Realms portal in the main world (Lower Realms portals located in the endlands are not activated). There is no day or night and no weather. The only natural sources of light come from fire, soul fire, lava, fluorite, and bacteriosomes. Lower Realm creatures like Zombie Pigspirit and Magma Monster will only spawn as part of the stronghold. Main world clusters and veins will spawn normally, but lower world clusters will not spawn.
