Chinese manufacturer ZTE has released a new, simple smart watch on the market that runs on the embedded operating system Nucleus RT OS, it’s ZTE W01 smart watch, and in the coming weeks, ZTE W02 smart band will be also published.
The ZTE W01 smart watch has 1.22inch IPS display which is held in a round shape and has a resolution of 240×204 pixels. As for its dimension, t has 21.40 x 4.10 x 2.50 cm, with a circular box of around 4.1 cm of diameter and a thickness of 1.5 cm. And it has a leather strap with anti-allergic treatment and waterproof. There are three colors option, silver, gold and black. With its strap, we have a total weight of 46 grams being quite a light smartwatch. It shows simple and light design fully.
The smart watch has 32MB of RAM and 128 MB internal flash memory, which is a little hard for play music. It’s stainless steel housing and supports IP53 certification.
In addition, it includes heart rate monitor on the back and built in pedometer. It is powered by MTK2502 processor and it supports Bluetooth 4.0 to transfer the data. It has 320 mAh battery that can last for 3 days under normal use. It can also support Android and IOS to connect.

ZTE W01 has some nice advantages such as fashion design and metal material, and other practical functions. But it doesn’t count with mobile connectivity and camera, micro SD slot. Therefore, we need to consider all these features to make the decision.
