The e-cigarette brand HQD has launched a new open e-cigarette – APEX on its official website. This product is equipped with a 1.47-inch HD touch screen and supports a wide power output range of 5-45W. It is not yet available on the websites of e-cigarette dealers.
Previously, the e-cigarette brand VAPORESSO also launched an open e-cigarette named “APEX” – Vaporesso Apex Pod Kit; It is reported that a tactical battle royale game “Apex Legends” launched in 2019 adopted this name.
In terms of product parameters, the HQD APEX is equipped with a battery of 1,000mAh. Compared with similar products such as VOZOL ACE PRO (1400mAh), Geekvape Soul 2 Pod Kit (2100mAh), and Vaporesso Apex Pod Kit (2000mAh), the battery capacity is relatively low.
In addition, the HQD APEX is equipped with three replaceable cartridges of 0.4Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω, corresponding to an output power range of 5W to 45W. Compared with similar products from multiple brands such as VOZOL, Geekvape, and FRESOR, its power output range is relatively large. This also supports the switch of the product from MTL (oral inhalation) to DTL (pulmonary inhalation) mode.
It is worth noting that although the HQD APEX product page shows three replaceable cartridges with different resistance values of 0.4Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω, the information on the official website indicates that the product is “Currently available 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω”, that is, “Currently available 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω”. Subsequently, HQD APEX will launch a version compatible with 0.4Ω cartridges.

Like the previous multi-brand replaceable and open products, the HQD APEX is equipped with a 1.47-inch HD touchscreen that can display information such as battery level, power and working status in real time, and supports animation feedback. The side of the product supports air flow adjustment and also includes a side button for accessing all functions.
Previously, the VOZOL Ace Max, a replaceable oil-filled e-cigarette product launched by the VOZOL brand, was also equipped with a 1.47-inch touch screen, which displayed data including power, the number of pups, battery, etc.
Online sales have not been carried out yet
At present, HQD APEX has landed on the official website of the HQD brand and is being promoted simultaneously on the official accounts of the brand on Facebook and Instagram. The HQD brand has now launched a number of open products including HQD ZEST, HQD CIRAK, HQD EOS 2.0, etc.
