EDIFIER continues its tradition of delivering impressive audio quality at accessible prices with the Lolli ANC TWS Earbuds. These semi-in-ear earbuds aren’t just about good looks (though they have those too); they pack a serious punch with Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling, a focus on crystal-clear calls, immersive sound from 13mm drivers, and a standout AI real-time translation feature. Add in long battery life and a comfy fit for sports, and you’ve got a compelling all-rounder.
Key Features That Shine:
-
Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC):
-
Goes beyond basic ANC by intelligently analyzing your surrounding noise environment in real-time.
-
Automatically adjusts the level and type of cancellation needed (e.g., dialing up for a noisy commute, softening for office chatter).
-
Delivers a significant reduction in low-frequency rumbles (like engines, AC) and mid-frequency distractions, creating a more immersive listening experience.
-
-
Exceptional Call Clarity with ENC & 4-Mics:
-
4-Microphone System: Combines feedforward and feedback mics on each earbud.
-
Advanced Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC): Focuses precisely on isolating and suppressing background noise (wind, traffic, crowds) during calls.
-
Ensures your voice comes through clearly and loudly to the person on the other end, even in challenging environments.
-
-
Immersive Sound with 13mm Three-Composite Strong Magnetic Drivers:
-
Large 13mm dynamic drivers provide a solid foundation for rich bass and clear mids/highs.
-
“Three-Composite” likely refers to a multi-layer diaphragm construction (e.g., polymer + materials) for improved rigidity, faster response, and reduced distortion.
-
“Strong Magnetic” indicates a powerful magnet system, enhancing driver control and efficiency for dynamic, detailed sound. Expect a balanced, engaging signature suitable for various genres.
-
-
AI-Powered Real-Time Translation (A Standout Feature!):
-
This is a major differentiator. Integrates with EDIFIER’s app (or potentially a partner app) to offer near real-time voice translation during calls or conversations.
-
Imagine breaking down language barriers seamlessly – useful for travelers, international business calls, or chatting with friends who speak different languages. Check supported languages and app functionality details.
-
-
Long-Lasting 34-Hour Playback:
-
The charging case provides multiple full recharges.
-
Combined with the earbuds’ battery, expect a total playtime of around 34 hours with ANC off. Playtime with ANC on will be less but still impressive (likely 20-25+ hours total).
-
Quick charge support is almost guaranteed (check specs).
-
-
Semi-In-Ear Comfort & Secure Sports Fit:
-
Semi-in-ear design offers a more natural, less intrusive feel compared to deep-sealing in-ear models, reducing ear fatigue during long listening sessions.
-
Designed with stability fins or contours to ensure they stay securely in place during workouts, running, or active commutes.
-
-
Low Latency Mode:
-
Essential for gamers or video watchers. Activating low-latency mode (usually via the app) minimizes the delay between audio and video, preventing distracting lip-sync issues.
-
-
Touch Controls & App Integration:
-
Intuitive touch controls on each earbud for play/pause, track skip, volume, ANC/Ambient mode toggle, call handling, and voice assistant access.
-
Companion app (e.g., EDIFIER Connect) for firmware updates, EQ customization, button remapping, and managing the translation feature.
-
Who Are They For?
-
Commuters & Travelers: ANC for peace, ENC for clear calls, translation for navigating new places.
-
Professionals: Flawless call quality in noisy offices or WFH settings, translation for global teams.
-
Fitness Enthusiasts: Secure semi-in-ear fit, stability for movement, long battery for long sessions.
-
Multilingual Users & Travelers: The AI translation feature is a significant draw.
-
Everyday Listeners: Anyone wanting great sound, effective ANC, clear calls, and long battery life in a comfortable, stylish package without breaking the bank.
Things to Consider:
-
ANC Effectiveness: While Adaptive ANC is a plus, semi-in-ear designs inherently provide less passive noise isolation than deep-sealing in-ear tips. ANC will be very effective on constant low/mid frequencies but may not block all higher-pitched noise as completely as top-tier in-ear ANC models.
-
Semi-In-Ear Sound: Bass response, while likely good for the form factor, might feel less impactful than deep-sealing in-ear buds for bass-heads. Focus is on balance and comfort.
-
App Dependency: The full potential (EQ, translation, firmware) requires using the EDIFIER app.
-
Translation Accuracy: Real-time AI translation is impressive but still evolving. Accuracy can vary depending on accents, background noise, and language complexity.
The Verdict:
EDIFIER Lolli ANC TWS Earbuds offer an exceptionally well-rounded feature set for their price point. They successfully combine:
-
Effective Adaptive ANC for reducing distractions.
-
Superior call quality powered by 4-mic ENC.
-
Immersive, balanced sound from capable 13mm drivers.
-
A truly unique and useful AI translation feature.
-
Long battery life and a secure, comfortable semi-in-ear fit perfect for active lifestyles.
While absolute noise isolation warriors might crave deeper sealing, and bass purists might want more thump, the Lolli ANC strikes an impressive balance. The inclusion of real-time translation is a genuine innovation that adds significant practical value.
If you’re looking for stylish, comfortable TWS earbuds that deliver on core features like ANC and call clarity, offer great sound and battery life, and pack a futuristic bonus with AI translation, the EDIFIER Lolli ANC are a standout choice. They represent excellent value and showcase EDIFIER’s commitment to packing premium features into accessible audio gear.
