The DJI Mini 5 Pro not only continues the lightweight and portable body design, but also is the first in the Mini series to adopt a one-inch large sensor camera. It also supports outstanding features such as night scene-level omnidirectional active obstacle avoidance, lossless vertical shooting, 225° gimbal rotation, up to 20-kilometer O4+ image transmission, and omnidirectional intelligent following.

As the first Mini series drone to adopt a 1-inch 50-megapixel CMOS image sensor, the DJI Mini 5 Pro boasts a powerful image shooting capability comparable to that of flagship models. The large sensor combined with an f/1.8 large aperture not only enables it to have a wide dynamic range to capture the details of light and shadow, It can also capture purer images in low-light conditions.
The DJI Mini 5 Pro is equipped with a brand-new image processing platform and intelligent algorithms. It can not only present vast landscapes but also retain more details when shooting in low-light conditions, capturing purer sunset and night scenes. It also supports recording 4K/60fps HDR videos with a dynamic range of up to 14 levels, giving the overall picture a more cinematic feel.
Even in the normal mode, the DJI Mini 5 Pro can record 10-bit videos using H.265 encoding, delivering fine color performance and raising the ISO upper limit to 12800. The ISO upper limit of the D-Log M and HLG color modes has been raised to 3200. The higher brightness can present more details in urban night scene shooting.
Compared with the traditional digital zoom of the previous Mini Pro series, the DJI Mini 5 Pro has added a 48mm high-quality medium focal length mode, bringing 2x zoom capability, significantly improving the picture resolution and clearly recording details and textures. When shooting from a high altitude, it is easy to zoom in on the picture, making the subject stand out more.
The DJI Mini 5 Pro also incorporates DJI’s portrait optimization technology [1], delivering superior portrait brightness, contrast and skin tone performance, allowing for the capture of vibrant portrait masterpieces.
The DJI Mini 5 Pro features an ultra-light and foldable body, the size of a palm, which can be easily stored in a backpack or pocket, making it more convenient to carry around. Meanwhile, within its lightweight body, the DJI Mini 5 Pro also boasts powerful software and hardware performance. It is equipped with 42GB of large-capacity storage, which basically eliminates the need for memory cards.
The front of the DJI Mini 5 Pro is equipped with a forward-looking lidar. It is also fitted with a pair of fisheye lenses at the front and back to achieve perception of the front, back, left, right and top. At the bottom, it is equipped with a dual-eye lens and a 3D infrared sensor to achieve all-directional active obstacle avoidance at night scene level, making flight control and intelligent return more reassuring.

In terms of satellite positioning, the DJI Mini 5 Pro adopts L1+L5 dual-frequency GNSS technology, supporting more satellite reception, providing more stable signals and more accurate positioning.
The DJI Mini 5 Pro supports multi-scenario customized follow-up shooting and offers more stable and secure follow-up performance. The DJI Mini 5 Pro can intelligently recognize various sports scenarios and automatically match standard, cycling and other modes based on the optimal tracking strategy.
In standard mode, capture the target’s trajectory in real time and maintain a stable tracking height and distance. In cycling mode, the response is even more sensitive, allowing for quick responses to dynamic changes such as the target’s turns and acceleration, firmly locking onto the main subject and continuously maintaining an ideal composition.

In open Spaces, the maximum following speed of the DJI Mini 5 Pro has been increased to 15 meters per second, and the response is more rapid. The DJI Mini 5 Pro gimbal supports a 225° large-angle horizontal roll rotation, allowing for free and flexible camera movement.
