According to bizcommunity, Philip Morris International South Africa (PMSA) has launched its e-cigarette product Veev in South Africa.
Philip Morris International South Africa said that through this product expansion, South Africa has joined the ranks of 20 countries worldwide that have three major categories of smokeless products. The three major series include:
IQOS ILUMA – Heated tobacco brand
ZYN – Nicotine bag brand
VEEV – An e-cigarette brand
Jonathan Kwak, director of smokeless products at Philip Morris South Africa, said: “Adult smokers in South Africa now have more options and can consider scientifically proven smokeless alternatives.” He added that this was an important step forward in completely getting rid of cigarettes.
