Igeekphone News, November 6th: A new vivo phone with the model number V2528A passed the 3C certification yesterday and supports 90W fast charging. Blogger @Digital Chat Station revealed that it is a vivo S50 series phone.
It is reported that the vivo S50 features dual sizes of 6.59 inches and 6.31 inches, with the PM (expected to be up to Pro mini) processor being Snapdragon 8 Gen5. The entire series is equipped with periscope imaging and peripheral enhancement, and the lens ID design has been changed to a more mainstream solution.

In addition, the blogger once disclosed that the 6.3-inch small straight screen iteration model of a certain factory would have a “leapfrog upgrade”, which was regarded by the outside world as the vivo S50 Pro mini.
Leaks reveal that the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 chip will adopt the Oryon CPU architecture, featuring 2*3.8GHz super-large cores and 6*3.32GHz large cores, and be equipped with the Adreno 840 GPU, which is the same architecture as the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra, but the scale has been cut, and the frequency “seems to be 1.2” as well.

Igeekphone has noticed that Qualcomm announced at the Snapdragon Summit 2025 that the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 processor will return and be equipped on new devices from OnePlus, vivo, iQOO, motorola, and Meizu.
