iGEEKPHONE News on November 14th: Samsung’s first triple-fold Galaxy Z TriFold has recently obtained multiple certifications and is about to be launched. It is expected to be released in December.
Some detailed parameters have been released at present. It adopts a G-shaped folding design and has two screens, an inner screen and an outer screen. When the inner screen is unfolded, it is 10 inches, and when it is folded, the outer screen is 6.5 inches. The global brightness of the screen is 1600nits, and the local excitation is 2600nits.

The thicknesses of the three parts of the three-fold structure are 3.9mm, 4.0mm, and 4.2mm respectively.
It is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, with the main camera having a 200-megapixel resolution. It is equipped with a 5437mAh battery.
It should be noted that the G-shaped folding can only switch between single-screen and triple-screen, while Huawei’s Z-shaped folding can have three forms: single-screen, dual-screen, and triple-screen, and can be freely switched according to needs.

However, the G-shaped design also has unique advantages. After folding, it can protect the screen inside the body, making it relatively safer and more stable.
Analysts predict that the price of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold may be around $2,800, approximately 19,900 yuan.

For comparison, the starting price of Huawei’s new Mate XTs this year is 17,999 yuan.
