Igeekphone News on November 17th: Huawei Mate 80 series has been officially announced to be released on November 25th. At the same time, four models of this series were also revealed, namely Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and Mate 80 RS Extraordinary Master.
Among them, Mate 80 Pro Max is a brand-new version, replacing the previous Pro+ series.
Judging from the information on the official website, the Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro should have a relatively small difference. Both models are equipped with exactly the same four color options.

The Mate 80 Pro Max comes in four completely different colors, named Polar Day Gold, Aurora Blue, Polar Silver and Polar Night Black respectively. Huawei’s official Weibo account has recently released pictures of these four colors.
It can be seen that this Mate 80 Pro Max adopts a very tough straight-edge design, which is completely different from the previous designs of the series.

The rear camera adopts a large circular ring design, inherited from the Mate 60 series, which conforms to the “intergenerational inheritance” feature that people often joke about.
Unlike before, there is also a ring of the same size below the module, forming an unprecedented “dual-ring” ID.

It is reported that the Mate 80 series adopts an all-metal body this time, with both the back cover and the middle frame made of metal. The circular ring below the rear camera might be the hollowed-out part for wireless charging. By splicing glass or fiberglass materials, it ensures the transmission of the charging coil.
In terms of core configuration, the Mate 80 Pro Max will be equipped with the Kirin 9030 processor and offer two storage options: 16+512GB and 16GB+1TB.
