iGEEKPHONE News, November 18th: Today, Huawei officially unveiled the appearance design of the Mate X7 foldable screen and announced that the new device will be equipped with a brand-new ultra-reliable foldable Xuanwu architecture.
Meanwhile, the official Weibo account of Huawei Terminal also released two videos, showcasing the comprehensive upgrades of Huawei Mate X7 in terms of drop resistance, impact resistance and hot water resistance.

The video shows that before leaving the factory, the Huawei Mate X7 will undergo multiple extreme reliability tests, including 80℃ hot water spray, iron ball impact and bending tests.
In addition, it is known from the small text below the video that the Huawei Mate X7 supports IP58 and IP59 dust and water resistance.
Among them, the outer screen of the Mate X7 Collector’s Edition adopts the second-generation Basalt tempered Kunlun glass, while the outer screens of other versions use the second-generation Kunlun glass. The former has better anti-drop performance.
In terms of ID design, the Huawei Mate X7 continues the rear quad-camera and flash layout of the Mate X6, but upgrades the design and craftsmanship of the camera area, further enhancing the overall visual recognition.

Digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” revealed that the Huawei Mate X7 will be equipped with the Kirin 9030 chip, offering three memory versions: 12GB, 16GB, and 20GB. It will also feature a 50-megapixel variable aperture main camera and a periscope telephoto lens, with a triple-camera system similar to that of the Mate 80 Pro.
