Igeekphone News, December 3rd: Technology media GSMArena published a blog post today (December 3rd), reporting that Nubia has released its first book-style foldable phone, Nubia Fold, equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra chip, featuring a 6560mAh battery and supporting 55W charging.
In terms of configuration, this foldable phone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra chip, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. It features a large-capacity 6560mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging and comes pre-installed with the Android 15 operating system.

In terms of the screen, the inner screen of this device is 8 inches, with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. The outer screen is 6.5 inches in size, with a resolution of 2748 x 1172 pixels. Both screens support a 120Hz high refresh rate, and the inner screen has been specially optimized for a split-screen mode for multitasking.

In terms of body design, the thickness is only 5.4mm when unfolded and controlled at 11.1mm when folded. The overall weight of the device is 249 grams. Meanwhile, the body supports IP54-level dust and water resistance.

In terms of imaging configuration, the Nubia Fold’s rear module adopts a triple-camera solution: including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. In terms of selfies, this device is equipped with two 20-megapixel front cameras, located on the inner screen and the outer screen respectively.

The Nubia Fold is currently only available in black and will go on sale in Japan on December 4th, with a retail price of 178,560 Japanese yen (Igeekphone Note: The current exchange rate is approximately 8,108 RMB). It is expected to be launched in more countries and regions by 2026.
