Igeekphone News on December 8th: A blogger has drawn the appearance renderings of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which is set to be officially released this month.
Compared with the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, the biggest change of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is that it adopts a circular camera module and has no back screen design. The overall shape remains consistent with the previous generation.
In terms of details, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a Leica triple rear camera setup. A 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens is located at the top, while a 1-inch main camera and an ultra-wide-angle lens are at the bottom.

Its front is a straight screen. It is expected to be equipped with the same super pixel new domestic screen as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Each pixel has independent red, green and blue sub-pixels, bringing a 2K-level display effect, but the power consumption is lower than that of a 1.5K screen.
In addition, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is equipped with the Qualcomm 5th Generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra platform. This chip is equipped with the Qualcomm 3rd generation Oryon CPU, with a maximum clock speed of 4.6GHz. The CPU performance is enhanced by 20%, energy efficiency is improved by 35%, and overall power consumption is reduced by 16%.

In terms of imaging, the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica will become more in-depth. The two sides will enhance the optical performance and photography experience in the mobile imaging era through technological breakthroughs in areas such as lens optics, chips, and algorithms.

Currently, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has obtained network access permission. The entire series supports UWB, and the top-of-the-line version also supports satellite communication.
