Igeekphone News, December 16th: The technology media GSMArena published a blog post yesterday (December 15th), reporting that the new HMD phone with the code name “Pearl” has appeared in the Geekbench benchmark library, and it is estimated to be the HMD Pulse 2 Pro phone.

According to the benchmarking library information, the code name “ums9230_6h10” for the T606/T615 series is marked in the motherboard column. However, the CPU frequencies are different, featuring 2 large cores at 1.82GHz and 6 small cores at 1.61GHz. This specification is clearly inconsistent with the T606 series (all-core 1.6GHz), but instead aligns with the parameters of Unisplendour Unisoc T7250.

The parameters exposed this time have a high degree of overlap with the information of HMD Pulse 2 Pro leaked by a certain retailer recently. Although the retailer previously labeled the chip as T615, it is highly likely that they confused T615 with T7250.

In addition, the running TAB shows that this device is equipped with 4GB of memory and pre-installed with Android 15. However, considering previous reports, Android 16 has raised the minimum memory requirement to 6GB. Therefore, for subsequent upgrades of this device, it may be forced to switch to Android 16 Go Edition (the low-end version of the system).
