Igeekphone reported on February 3rd that blogger “Digital Daxia” has revealed the configuration of a flagship device powered by Dimensity 9500 chipset. It is expected to be REDMI K90 Ultra Edition.
This device not only features Dimensity 9500 chip, but also comes with a built-in cooling fan. It is the first model in the Xiaomi lineup to adopt active cooling technology, capable of extracting the full performance of the Tianji 9500 and achieving sustained and stable output.
Dimensity 9500 is manufactured using the latest third-generation 3nm process technology from TSMC. Its CPU architecture includes 1 ultra-large core with a clock speed of up to 4.21GHz, 3 premium large cores and 4 pro large cores. Compared to the previous generation, its single-core performance has increased by 32%, and its multi-core performance has improved by 17%.

Battery life and fast charging are also key features of this device. It is equipped with an 8500mAh ± large battery, and the internal structure is still being optimized to increase the capacity further. It supports 100W wired fast charging and is expected to be compatible with 100W PPS.
The report also mentioned that the REDMI K90 Ultra Edition supports ultra-high refresh rates and is expected to feature a 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate screen.
Currently, many competing models have adopted 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate screens. Although Xiaomi is a bit late in this regard, the majority of mainstream games are increasingly adapting to 165Hz, and once it is launched, users will be able to enjoy a full performance experience.
It is worth noting that previously, the K series models were usually released in the second half of the year. However, Redmi K90 Ultra edition of this year has been scheduled to come out earlier, and it is likely to be unveiled around May.
