IGEEKPHONE reported on February 21st that Xiaomi will launch two mid-range mobile phones globally – POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. According to the renderings shared by X platform insider @passionategeekz yesterday, both of these models will offer three colors for selection: black, white, and blue.

From the actual photos, we can see that these two models continue the design language of last year’s X7 Pro. The main difference lies in the rear camera module. The Pro Max version is suspected to be equipped with dual LED flash lights, while the Pro version has a single flash light configuration. Both models have almost the same front design, both adopting ultra-narrow bezel center-penetrating screens.
In terms of specifications, the POCO X8 Pro Max phone is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip, featuring LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage, a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED screen, and a 120Hz high refresh rate. It is also expected to be equipped with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

The X8 Pro is expected to be equipped with Dimensity 8500Ultra chip, featuring a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED screen, and its main camera will be 50 million pixels (Note from Igeekphone: Sony IMX882).
In terms of batteries, the X8 Pro Max is not expected to adopt the 9000mAh ultra-large battery of the REDMI Turbo 5 Max, but the total capacity is expected to still exceed 8000mAh; the X8 Pro is expected to have a 6500mAh battery and support 100W wired fast charging.
