Igeekphone reported on February 20th that after REDMI A7 Pro, the standard model of this series, REDMI A7, has also passed the Thailand NBTC certification. Its model number is 26020RNB4A. Additionally, this device has previously obtained the EU EEC certification.
In contrast, the higher-end REDMI A7 Pro has multiple different models such as 25128RN17A, 25128RN17Y and 25128RN17G, which may correspond to different market versions.

The NBTC certification information confirms that REDMI A7 does not support 5G connectivity and only supports 4G networks. The Pro version is also expected not to support 5G functions. More details about the specific specifications and release dates of these two new devices are expected to gradually emerge in the coming weeks.
IGEEKPHONE previously reported that the POCO brand under Xiaomi is also developing two models, C81 and C81 Pro. It is noted that these two devices are likely to be rebranded as REDMI A7 and REDMI A7 Pro for sale in specific markets. Although the official has not confirmed this connection, it is widely speculated that the core specifications of both will be roughly the same, with only minor differences possibly in memory or storage configurations.
According to previous rumors, the POCO C81 and C81 Pro might be equipped with a 6.9-inch 720p+ resolution LCD screen, supporting a 120Hz high refresh rate; they are expected to be equipped with the ZTE Ascend T7250 chip and run the Paddle OS 3 system based on Android 15. They might also adopt 4GB LPDDR4x memory, a maximum of 128GB storage space, a 6000mAh battery, 15W charging, a 13MP front camera and a 50MP main camera on the back.
