Igeekphone reported on February 26th that the German technology website WinFuture.de published a blog post yesterday (February 25th), which featured a set of renderings showing Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 smartwatch.
It is reported that Huawei has specially invited marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge to be the spokesperson for this new product, in order to enhance the professional sports attributes of the product.
In terms of appearance, the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is equipped with an AMOLED display. The case design is relatively thin and some parts are made of titanium material.

This model offers a dual-color strap option and introduces a brand-new AirDry strap design. This design utilizes raised threads and ventilation slots to significantly enhance air circulation, thereby effectively improving the wearing comfort and sweat-wicking efficiency for runners during long-distance running.
In terms of functionality, this watch integrates ECG (electrocardiogram) functionality, which can generate precise electrocardiograms, and also has the ability to track heart rate variability (HRV).
To meet the strict requirements of professional runners for track recording, this watch is equipped with dual-frequency GPS, enabling more accurate route tracking.

This machine also introduces the “Intelligent Marathon Mode”, a soft feature similar to an exclusive coach that can provide runners with comprehensive data support and performance guidance before, during, and after the race.
In terms of battery life, this watch can provide up to 32 hours of power when in GPS mode. Even in daily use, it still has a full charge battery life of up to 14 days.
