Igeekphone News, March 10th: Xiaomi is expected to launch the all-new Xiaomi 18 series as early as September this year. At that time, Xiaomi 18, Xiaomi 18 Pro, and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will all make their debut simultaneously, kicking off the curtain of the new generation of performance flagship devices.
According to reliable sources, the screen size of the top-of-the-line Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will reach 6.9 inches. This device features a pure straight-screen design and incorporates the advanced LIPO ultra-thin quadrilateral process, resulting in a thinner visual black border than the previous generation.
The screen performance of this new device will undergo a revolutionary upgrade. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will officially support the BT.2020 color gamut. This is an ultra-high-definition television system standard set by the International Telecommunication Union and is one of the most stringent technical indicators in the display field at present.

In the chromaticity diagram, the base color coverage range of BT.2020 has increased by approximately 75% compared to the traditional color gamut. It has become the core standard for 4K and 8K ultra-high-definition video production, capable of presenting users with more realistic and vivid natural colors.
In addition, this screen also supports high color depth technologies of up to 10Bit or even 12Bit, which can effectively reduce the discontinuity phenomenon during color transitions. Its coverage reaches 75% of the visible color gamut of the human eye, and its performance far exceeds the current mainstream sRGB or DCI-P3 standards.
In terms of hardware core configuration, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will be the first in the world to adopt the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Pro flagship platform. This chip has undergone a complete reconfiguration of its core architecture, aiming to achieve the highest possible operating efficiency.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 series has abandoned the 2+6 design of its predecessor and adopted a completely new 2+3+3 architecture. This structural adjustment has significantly optimized the multi-core collaboration capabilities. The frequency of the super core is expected to exceed 5GHz, making it the highest-frequency mobile processor in the industry.
In an effort to achieve even greater transmission speeds, this new device will be the first to support the next-generation LPDDR6 memory. This means that when handling large applications and complex multitasking, the phone will have an unprecedented response speed.

In response to such aggressive performance optimization, Qualcomm plans to introduce the Heat Pass Block cooling technology, which is the same as that used in Samsung’s Exynos 2600. This technology significantly enhances the heat conduction efficiency by optimizing the internal layout logic of the chip.
This brand-new cooling solution can effectively alleviate the heat problem caused by high-frequency operation. Through physical heat dissipation, it ensures that Xiaomi 18 Pro Max can maintain a cool and stable peak performance even during long periods of high-load operation.
