Rendering image of Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is first revealed: Thickness reduced to 10.1mm, camera design more streamlined

Igeekphone reported on March 10th that Google is expected to release a new generation of foldable phone Pixel 11 Pro Fold later this year. Today, AndroidHeadlines and @OnLeaks have jointly released the first renderings of this device.

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is quite similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Google did not make a major overhaul to its appearance design; the overall shape and the curvature of the edges remain the same; the main materials of the body are still aluminum and glass.

When unfolded, there is still a hole-shaped camera at the top right corner of the main screen, with uniform and slightly raised borders around it – this is necessary for the protection mechanism of the foldable screen and is also a common design for current book-style foldable screens. When folded, the appearance on the front side is almost identical to that of the previous generation.

The layout at the top and bottom of the body is standard: the bottom features a USB Type-C port, microphone, speaker opening, and SIM card slot; the top only has a few microphone openings.
Compared to the front, the changes on the back of the new device are more obvious. The rear camera Deco of Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold has been redesigned, making the overall appearance more simple and modern. At the same time, the LED flash and microphone are now integrated into the pill-shaped notch at the top, sharing the same area as one of the rear cameras as opposed to being arranged independently as in the previous generation. The transition between the camera module and the backplate also adopts an arc shape, resulting in a more smooth visual effect.

The back panel remains flat and the central position of the Google logo remains unchanged. The positions of the physical buttons are also the same as in the previous model: the power / lock screen button is located above the volume buttons.

Thanks to the structural optimization, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a thinner thickness compared to its predecessor. Based on CAD data, its thickness in the folded state is 10.1 millimeters (including the camera protrusion which is 14.9 millimeters), which is approximately 0.7 millimeters less than that of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold (10.8 millimeters); in the unfolded state, its thickness is 4.8 millimeters (including the camera protrusion which is 9.6 millimeters), which is 0.4 millimeters less than that of the previous generation (5.2 millimeters).

Although it still lags behind some competitors’ current folding thickness of less than 9 millimeters, it undoubtedly is moving in the direction of being thinner. The height of the body (155.2 millimeters) and the width when unfolded (150.4 millimeters) remain the same as those of the previous generation.
Apart from minor cosmetic adjustments, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will upgrade from the previous generation’s Tensor G5 processor to the Tensor G6 processor. The specific specifications are unknown, but the latest rumors suggest it might adopt a 7-core design (further confirmation is needed).

The imaging part is another notable upgrade point. The camera configuration of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has long been regarded as inferior to that of the flagship devices of the same generation, especially in terms of the ultra-wide-angle lens. In response to the significant advancements in folding screen camera hardware by competitors, Google is expected to achieve a comprehensive upgrade on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, but the specific plan is still uncertain at present.

In other respects, significant changes are not expected. The sizes of the main screen and the cover screen are predicted to remain the same. Features such as IP68 dust and water resistance, Pixel wireless fast charging, and Qi2 wireless charging are expected to continue. There may not be a significant increase in battery capacity either.

Based on Google’s release schedule over the past two years, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is likely to make its official debut in August. The Pixel 9 series was released in August 2024, and the Pixel 10 series was released in August 2025. This timing seems to have become a new tradition for Google.

As for the pricing, the situation is more complicated. Previously, based on information from Google’s internal planning, it was suggested that the price of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold might be $1500 (Note: at the current exchange rate, it is approximately 10,371 yuan). However, due to multiple factors such as tariffs and the soaring prices of memory, the final price remains unknown. But it is certain that it is unlikely to be cheaper than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which starts at $1799.
