Igeekphone reported on March 26th that Xiaomi has now launched the REDMI Pad 2 Pro 5G version on JD.com. This version of the device is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space. It supports 5G all-network access and China Unicom eSIM (only supporting data functions), with a price of 2,599 yuan. In some regions, after national subsidies, it is as low as 2,209.15 yuan.

This device is 7.5mm thick and weighs 610g. It features a metal integrated body with a body color matching the track-shaped Deco design. The front of the body is equipped with a 12.1-inch 2560×1600 resolution 120Hz panel (with a maximum brightness of 600 nits), a front-facing 8MP camera (OMNIVISION OV08D10,1/4″), and a single rear 8MP camera (GalaxyCore Inc GC08A3, 1/4″).
In terms of specifications, this device is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile processing platform, LPDDR4X RAM memory, UFS 2.2 flash storage; it has a 12000mAh battery (supporting 33W fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging). It is equipped with 1620 symmetrical stereo four speakers, dual microphones, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, supports Hi-Res certification, supports IP52 dust and water resistance, and retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.
