Igeekphone reported on April 14th that a well-known tech blogger has disclosed the core specifications of Xiaomi 18 Pro.
This new device will be the first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8E6 series flagship chip based on the 2nm process technology, and it will be equipped with an ultra-large capacity battery of over 7000 mAh. At the same time, it supports 100-watt level wired and wireless fast charging. The imaging system is led by two 200-megapixel lenses.
Compared to the previous generation of models, the most groundbreaking evolution of the Xiaomi 18 Pro lies in its first adoption of the 2nm flagship chip. This not only marks that Xiaomi phones have officially entered the 2nm era, but also thanks to the energy efficiency advantages brought by the advanced manufacturing process, it has become a highly performant Pro-level model in the Android camp.

In terms of the core architecture, the Snapdragon 8E6 series has fully adopted the self-developed Oryon CPU solution by Qualcomm. The core layout has been adjusted from the previous generation’s 2+6 mode to a more efficient 2+3+3 mode, aiming to provide stronger multi-core collaborative processing capabilities through more scientific resource scheduling.
In addition, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will continue and optimize the back screen design of the previous generation. This means that the secondary screen interaction scheme will become a distinctive feature of the Xiaomi flagship series, providing users with a differentiated operating experience.
Liu Wei Bing, the president of Xiaomi Group, previously confirmed that Xiaomi 18 series will continue to focus on the back screen interaction solution. Xiaomi has already increased its research and development investment in this field, aiming to achieve more innovative functions on the secondary screen.

Xiaomi 18 series is expected to make its official debut in September this year. Besides the highly anticipated Xiaomi 18 Pro, the standard version of Xiaomi 18 as well as the more advanced Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will also be released simultaneously, jointly forming a new generation of performance flagship lineup.
