Igeekphone News, April 22: Last year, the digital flagship lineup of Xiaomi underwent a significant adjustment, with the addition of the Pro Max version. Currently, the Xiaomi 17 series has launched four models: Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, and the top-of-the-line Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
In the first half of this year, this series is about to add its fifth member – the Xiaomi 17 Max. According to a well-known blogger, this new device is expected to be officially released in May, and its market positioning is that of a powerful all-in-one large-screen flagship.
Currently, the Xiaomi 17 Max has officially obtained the network access license, with the model number being 2605EPN8EC. Unlike the previously highly anticipated Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, this new device has undergone a completely new design adjustment, with the iconic “Enjoy” back screen design being removed.

The engineers of Xiaomi have utilized all the saved space to increase the battery capacity, aiming to create a performance powerhouse with outstanding battery life. According to the leaked information, the Xiaomi 17 Max will be equipped with an ultra-large battery of up to 8000mAh.
This is not only the best among the Xiaomi 17 series, but also the largest-capacity flagship model in the Xiaomi brand’s history. The battery capacity and power performance will undergo a qualitative leap.
In terms of power supply performance, the Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to maintain a combination of 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Additionally, the device will continue to support the PPS fast charging protocol, ensuring that users can enjoy efficient power supply experiences regardless of the charging devices they use.

In terms of core configuration, the Xiaomi 17 Max will be equipped with the fifth-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition flagship platform. As one of the strongest mobile chips of the year, it will provide extremely powerful power support for large-screen multitasking and high-load games.
In terms of imaging, the new model still features the Leica triple camera system, maintaining the high-level optical performance that has been a hallmark of Xiaomi’s digital flagship series. At the system level, it comes pre-installed with the brand-new Paiming OS 3, which further enhances the smoothness and intelligence of the large-screen interaction through deep-level optimization.
