Igeekphone reported on April 26th: Blogger iBing Universe disclosed that the lightest and thinnest foldable device will be the Galaxy Wide Fold, which is set to be released in three months and will have an initial production of 1 million units.
He added in the comment section that the weight of this phone would not exceed 220 grams and it would adopt a dual-camera design.
It is also reported that when folded, the thickness of this device is 9.8mm, and the thinnest part when unfolded is only 4.9mm. It will become the world’s lightest foldable phone.

This device is Samsung’s first large-scale folding product. Its key feature is a 7.6-inch internal screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio (similar to the display effect of an iPad), along with a 5.4-inch external screen. It completely eliminates the narrow and elongated shape of traditional folding screens, significantly enhancing the experience for document reading and multitasking.
With the new generation of waterdrop hinge, the crease control is excellent and the opening and closing lifespan is extremely long.
The core configuration is on par with the flagship models, equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra Edition for Galaxy processor, providing up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage space.
Both the inner and outer screens are 120Hz LTPO dynamic AMOLED, with a peak brightness of 2600 nits.

The rear camera features a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W wired charging and 25W wireless fast charging.
The foldable iPhone that Apple is set to release in September will also adopt a similar aspect ratio. Coupled with the Huawei Pura X series, the three major manufacturers will engage in a fierce competition in the foldable device market.
