According to Grocery Trader, the UK and Ireland affiliate of Philip Morris International (PML) has launched the heated tobacco cartridge product LEVIA in the British market.
PML stated that this is a nicotine e-liquid product with zero tobacco flavor, specifically designed for the IQOS ILUMA series.
LEVIA is used to expand the range of smoke-free products.
PML stated that LEVIA will expand its growing range of smokeless alternative products, offering a new tobacco-free option for adult nicotine users.
The company stated that this product is designed to meet the needs of adult users who seek flavor and diverse experiences, especially those who wish to have an experience different from that of traditional heated non-burning products.
The product is in the form of burstable beads with a flavor.
According to the announcement, LEVIA is in the form of “flavour-to-flavour capsules” and provides enhanced flavor during use.
PML stated that this design addresses the growing demand from adult users for a greater variety and sensory experience in alternative nicotine products.
The first batch of product lines includes four versions.
The first product line of LEVIA will consist of 4 versions, namely Deep Mint, and 3 products with burst-flavored capsules:
Strawberry with Watermelon Pearl, Citrus with Peppermint Pearl, Blueberry with Strawberry Pearl.
The suggested retail price is £5.
PML stated that the suggested retail price of LEVIA is £5 (approximately $6.73), and this price point is similar to that of electronic cigarettes and nicotine-containing products displayed near the cash register.
The product is described as flavored nicotine cartridges.
The announcement states that LEVIA is clearly defined as “flavoured nicotine stick” and is equipped with an easily recognizable packaging design to help users better understand the product and its compatibility with the IQOS ILUMA device.
PML stated that LEVIA is part of its expanding range of smoke-free products in the UK, which also includes ZYN and VEEV ONE.
