Igeekphone, May 30th. According to blogger @DigitalXiaolianTianzhan’s latest revelation today, in order to equip a battery with a larger capacity of over 10,000mAh, Huawei has adopted several large-sized screens when iterating its product line. Currently, there is a 6.89-inch ±2K OLED square screen, and another 7-inch ±1.5K OLED square screen.
Igeekphone has noticed that among the currently available flagship phones, models such as Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max, and Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max all feature 6.9-inch large screens. This is the mainstream size among flagship phones.
This blogger disclosed in February this year that two manufacturers were evaluating new 7-inch large-screen phones. However, he did not reveal the specific brand names or product models. Later, on April 2nd, the blogger disclosed again that a certain factory was evaluating a new model with a large straight screen of around 7 inches and a battery capacity of tens of thousands of mAh. On April 27th, the blogger disclosed once more that a certain factory was launching a new 7-inch ultra-large straight screen on the iteration line, supporting 2K ultra-clear display and ultra-high refresh rate.
Based on the current reports, there are expected to be several 7-inch new models on the market this year. Users who prefer large-screen phones should keep an eye out.
