Igeekphone reported on June 9th that Dutch technology media Galaxy Club posted a blog post yesterday (June 8th) stating that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra tablet will continue to use the battery from the previous generation. Its rated capacity is 11,374mAh, and the typical capacity is 11,600mAh. The charging power is expected to remain at 45W.
The media report states that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will adopt the same battery configuration as the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, with a rated battery capacity of 11,374mAh. The advertised typical capacity is 11,600mAh.
For comparison, the battery of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ tablet will come in two specifications: EB-BX846AAE and EB-BX846AAY. The rated battery capacity for both is 10392mAh. After its launch, the estimated typical capacity is 10500mAh or 10600mAh, which represents an increase of approximately 4-5% compared to the Galaxy Tab S10+.
In terms of charging, Igeekphone cited the article to state that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is expected to continue using the current charging method and maintain a charging power of 45W.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra may be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. The screen sizes are expected to remain at 12.4 inches and 14.6 inches respectively.
The front camera is likely to be 12MP. The rear camera configuration is still expected to be a 13MP + 8MP dual-camera setup for now. At the same time, they will continue to have IP68 protection and will be pre-installed with Android 17 and One UI 9 at the time of launch.
