Xiaomi REDMI Note 17 Appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 Ahead of Official Launch

Igeekphone NEWS: The upcoming Xiaomi REDMI Note 17 series continues to take shape ahead of its official debut, with a new Geekbench listing revealing key hardware details of what is believed to be the standard REDMI Note 17 5G.

The benchmark entry provides an early look at the device’s processor, memory configuration, and software, while Xiaomi has already confirmed that the REDMI Note 17 lineup will be officially unveiled on July 14.

    Geekbench Listing Reveals Core Specifications

According to a recent report by NotebookCheck, a Xiaomi smartphone carrying the model number 2607DRA18C has appeared in the Geekbench 6.7.1 database.

    The benchmark results show:

    • Single-core score: 1,027
    • Multi-core score: 3,002

While the exact model has not been officially confirmed, the device is widely believed to be the REDMI Note 17 5G, although some industry observers suggest it could instead be the Pro variant.

Powered by Snapdragon 6s Gen 4

The Geekbench listing indicates that the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 mobile platform.

    The chipset is paired with:

    • 12GB RAM
    • Android 16 operating system

The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 is expected to deliver balanced performance for mainstream users, offering improvements in efficiency, AI capabilities, and everyday responsiveness while maintaining the competitive value proposition that has defined the REDMI Note series.

Three Models Expected in the Lineup

Based on publicly available certification information and previous leaks, the REDMI Note 17 family is expected to include three smartphones, each carrying an internal codename inspired by a major international city.

    The rumored lineup includes:

Model Number Expected Model Internal Codename
    2607DRA18C REDMI Note 17 5G Moscow
    26073RA49C REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G Brussels
2609FRA74C REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G Chicago

Although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these model names, the certification data aligns with previous reports surrounding the upcoming series.

    67W Fast Charging Confirmed

The model number 2607DRA18C has also appeared in China’s 3C certification database, confirming support for 67W wired fast charging.

Fast charging has become a hallmark of Xiaomi’s mid-range smartphones, and the inclusion of 67W charging suggests the REDMI Note 17 will continue to offer rapid battery replenishment despite its affordable positioning.

Official Launch Set for July 14

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the REDMI Note 17 series will launch at 7:00 p.m. (China time) on July 14.

In promotional material released through REDMI’s official social media channels, the company highlights several key upgrades, including:

    • Improved overall durability
    • Enhanced drop resistance
    • Better water resistance
    • Longer battery life
    • Refined mid-range user experience

The company has also previewed the smartphone’s exterior design, indicating a refreshed appearance while maintaining the familiar identity of the Note series.

    Continuing REDMI’s Mid-Range Strategy

The REDMI Note lineup has long been recognized for offering strong value by combining capable hardware with competitive pricing.

If the leaked specifications prove accurate, the REDMI Note 17 appears set to continue that tradition by pairing Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor with generous memory, fast charging, Android 16, and durability improvements aimed at everyday users.

With its official unveiling just days away, the REDMI Note 17 series is expected to provide a clearer picture of Xiaomi’s strategy for the global mid-range smartphone market in the second half of the year.
