Igeekphone News: Segway-Ninebot has officially confirmed that its next-generation Mz3 electric scooter will make its full debut later this month, introducing a refreshed design while continuing the rugged styling that has become a hallmark of the company’s M-series lineup.
Although detailed specifications have yet to be announced, teaser images suggest that the Mz3 will build upon the foundation established by the recently launched M3 series, combining bold aesthetics with smart connectivity and enhanced riding performance.

Evolution of the M Series
According to the official teaser, the Mz3 adopts a more aggressive, mecha-inspired design language featuring sharper body lines and a more muscular profile.
While the overall silhouette remains recognizable, the updated styling appears more futuristic and performance-oriented, reinforcing the M series’ positioning as one of Segway-Ninebot’s flagship electric scooter families.

The company has not yet disclosed whether the Mz3 will receive significant hardware upgrades or focus primarily on design refinements, with full specifications expected to be revealed during its official launch later this month.
Building on the M3 Platform
The upcoming Mz3 is widely expected to inherit many of the technologies introduced with the Ninebot M3, which debuted earlier this year in two variants: the M3 95 and M3 100.
Those models introduced a range of premium features that set a new benchmark for high-performance electric scooters in their class, including advanced safety systems, intelligent connectivity, and improved chassis engineering.
Smart Dashboard and Connected Features
The M3 series is equipped with a 5-inch TFT color display, providing riders with clear access to speed, battery status, navigation information, and vehicle diagnostics.
It also supports the company’s RideyGo! 2.0+ smart ecosystem, offering multiple convenient unlocking methods, including:
- Smartphone app
- Bluetooth
- NFC
- Smart sensor-based unlocking
To improve vehicle security, the scooters incorporate a comprehensive anti-theft system combining:
- GPS positioning
- BeiDou satellite navigation
- Cellular network location tracking
Additional safety technologies include an AHRS attitude sensing system, an integrated riding data recorder (black box), and automatic emergency assistance functions that can be activated in the event of an accident.
Stronger Chassis and Improved Ride Quality
One of the standout innovations introduced with the M3 platform is AXC frame technology, engineered to improve structural rigidity and overall handling.
According to Segway-Ninebot, the redesigned frame delivers:
- 32% higher torsional rigidity
- 42% greater longitudinal stiffness
These improvements are complemented by an upgraded suspension system featuring:
- 33mm hydraulic front forks with 90mm of travel
- Five-level adjustable rear shock absorbers
Together, these components are designed to provide greater stability and comfort across urban roads as well as rougher surfaces.
Advanced Safety Technologies
The M3 series also places a strong emphasis on rider safety.
Standard equipment includes:
- Dual-channel ABS
- Traction Control System (TCS)
- Electronic Braking Energy Recovery System (EABS)
Segway-Ninebot says these systems reduce braking distances by approximately 15% compared with previous models.
The higher-spec M3 100 further upgrades braking performance with front-mounted opposed four-piston radial brake calipers for improved stopping power.
