Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Renders Reveal Flex Titanium Folding Design and Four Color Options

Samsung’s next-generation foldable flagship, Galaxy Z Fold8, has appeared in a fresh set of leaked renders, offering a closer look at its design, color options, and rumored folding technology ahead of its expected launch.

According to information shared by well-known leaker Roland Quandt on the Bluesky platform on July 20, the newly leaked images showcase Samsung’s upcoming book-style foldable in three standard color finishes: Graphite, Cream, and Lavender.

    Four Color Options Expected

The latest renders suggest the Galaxy Z Fold8 will be available in the following colors:

    • Graphite
    • Cream
    • Lavender

In addition to these mainstream variants, previous reports indicate Samsung is also preparing a Pistachio edition. However, this version is expected to remain exclusive to Samsung’s official online store, following the company’s strategy of offering online-exclusive colorways for flagship devices.

    Flex Titanium Folding Structure

One of the most notable rumored upgrades is Samsung’s new Flex Titanium folding architecture.

According to the leak, the technology combines two titanium-based structural components:

    • A titanium alloy film
    • A titanium support plate

This dual-layer design is intended to improve the overall durability of the foldable display while reducing weight and maintaining flexibility. By replacing or reinforcing traditional hinge-support materials with titanium, Samsung aims to deliver a foldable device that is lighter, stronger, and more resistant to long-term wear.

The Flex Titanium solution could also contribute to a thinner device profile while enhancing structural rigidity, an area where premium foldables continue to evolve each generation.

Production Targets Reveal Samsung’s Foldable Strategy

Earlier supply chain reports suggest Samsung has already shared production plans for its upcoming foldable lineup with component suppliers.

The reported display panel production targets are:

    • Galaxy Z Fold8: approximately 2.8 million units
    • Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra: approximately 2.0 million units
    • Galaxy Z Flip8: approximately 1.5 million units

These figures indicate Samsung expects the standard Galaxy Z Fold8 to remain the highest-volume model within its large foldable portfolio, while positioning the rumored Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra as a more premium, lower-volume flagship.

    Competition in the Foldable Market

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is expected to enter an increasingly competitive premium foldable market, where manufacturers including Huawei, Honor, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, and Google continue to introduce thinner, lighter, and more durable foldable smartphones.

With the introduction of the Flex Titanium design, Samsung appears to be focusing on improving one of the most important aspects of foldable devices: achieving the ideal balance between lightweight construction, structural strength, and long-term reliability.

Although Samsung has yet to officially confirm the specifications or launch schedule of the Galaxy Z Fold8, the growing number of leaks suggests the company is preparing another significant update to its flagship foldable series. More details are expected to emerge as the official announcement approaches.
