Igeekphone, July 28 – Xiaomi’s REDMI brand has officially confirmed that it will participate in ChinaJoy 2026, one of Asia’s largest digital entertainment exhibitions, where it plans to unveil its annual flagship smartphone on July 31.
The announcement was made through REDMI’s official Weibo account, signaling that one of the company’s most anticipated smartphone launches of the year will take place during the event.
Annual Flagship Launch Set for ChinaJoy
According to REDMI, the new flagship device will be introduced live at the exhibition. In addition to the product launch, REDMI and Qualcomm Snapdragon will jointly host a series of interactive activities at the Snapdragon Theme Pavilion (Booth N5-02) throughout ChinaJoy.
The official teaser poster prominently features the word “Mausolae,” although REDMI has not yet explained its meaning. Industry observers believe the teaser is related to the upcoming REDMI K100 series, which has been the subject of numerous recent leaks.
REDMI K100 Series Expected
Earlier this month, a Xiaomi smartphone carrying the model number M511CD received network certification in China. The device is widely believed to belong to the REDMI K100 series and is reported to support 100W wired fast charging.
While Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm the device’s identity, multiple leaks suggest the certification aligns with the company’s next-generation flagship lineup.
Flagship Specifications Leak Online
Previous reports indicate that the REDMI K100 series could introduce several major hardware upgrades, including:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 mobile platform
- Flat display with an ultra-high 185Hz refresh rate
- Battery capacity exceeding 8,000mAh
- 200MP large-sensor primary camera
- 50W wireless charging
- 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner
- Full-level water resistance
- Telephoto macro camera capabilities
If these specifications prove accurate, the K100 series would represent one of the most feature-packed flagship smartphones in REDMI’s history.
Even Larger Battery Under Evaluation
The latest industry reports suggest Xiaomi is also testing a version of the REDMI K100 series equipped with a battery approaching 10,000mAh.
Although it remains unclear whether this battery will appear in a commercial model, the leak highlights Xiaomi’s continued focus on extending smartphone battery life without compromising flagship performance.

Pro and Pro Max Models Rumored
Earlier this month, well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that a major smartphone manufacturer is preparing two flagship models featuring different display sizes while maintaining nearly identical high-end specifications.
According to the leak:
- Pro Max will serve as the flagship model, featuring the largest battery and the most comprehensive hardware package while retaining popular features from previous generations.
- Pro will offer a more compact form factor while inheriting nearly all of the core performance and flagship capabilities of the Pro Max variant.
Although the tipster did not explicitly mention Xiaomi, the timing and specifications strongly suggest these devices are the upcoming REDMI K100 Pro and REDMI K100 Pro Max.
Official Reveal Just Days Away
With REDMI now officially confirming an “annual flagship” launch at ChinaJoy 2026, the long-rumored K100 series appears to be on the verge of its official debut.
If the leaked specifications—including a Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 chipset, a 200MP camera, an ultra-high-refresh-rate display, and an exceptionally large battery—are confirmed, the REDMI K100 lineup could become one of the most competitive Android flagship series of 2026.
More details are expected to be announced during REDMI’s launch event on July 31 at ChinaJoy 2026.
