DOJO by VAPORESSO, a vaping brand under SMOORE, is set to begin rolling out a new global visual identity from September 1, 2026. The update will bring a redesigned logo along with refreshed packaging and other visual materials.
According to information recently shared on LinkedIn by representatives associated with VAPORESSO, SMOORE, and German distribution channels, the rebranding will gradually be introduced across DOJO’s global brand assets.
The most noticeable change is a newly designed handwritten-style logo. The updated visual identity will also be applied to product packaging, marketing materials, and digital assets over the coming months.
New DOJO Logo Launches September 1
Anna Sliwa, Brand Operations Director for VAPORESSO UK, said in a LinkedIn post that the changes will begin on September 1.
Courtney Mather, SMOORE’s Regional FMCG Manager for Northern UK, also discussed the upcoming DOJO update in a separate LinkedIn post. According to Mather, the brand will begin adopting its new global identity on the same date, including the redesigned handwritten logo.
Mather described the new logo as a design intended to reflect energy, authenticity, and continued development.
Rather than making a sudden change across every market, DOJO appears to be taking a phased approach to the transition.
Packaging and Digital Assets Will Gradually Change
Fabio Corsaro, Head of Marketing and Purchasing at German company MG Wesel GmbH, described the move as a broader brand transformation.
According to his LinkedIn post, DOJO’s product packaging, marketing materials, and digital assets will gradually transition to the new visual system over the next several months.
The areas specifically identified so far include:
- Product packaging
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Digital assets
This means consumers and retailers may see both the existing and redesigned DOJO branding during the transition period.
The September 1 date therefore appears to mark the start of the global rollout, rather than a deadline by which every DOJO product and marketing asset must immediately adopt the new design.
Trademark Issue Has Not Been Officially Confirmed
There has also been discussion about the reason behind the rebranding.
Corsaro stated in his LinkedIn post that, based on information available to him internally, the rebranding was necessary because of a trademark-related issue.
However, no public confirmation of that explanation has been identified from DOJO, VAPORESSO, or SMOORE at this stage.
As a result, the confirmed information should be separated from the reported explanation.
What can currently be established is that DOJO will begin its new global visual identity rollout on September 1, 2026. The specific role that any trademark matter may have played in the decision remains unconfirmed until the brand itself provides further details.
How DOJO Is Connected to VAPORESSO
DOJO’s official branding uses the name “DOJO by Vaporesso,” establishing a clear connection between the two brands.
The official DOJO About page also states that VAPORESSO was established by SMOORE in 2015.
The relationship is also reflected in distribution channels. German distributor MG Wesel GmbH lists “DOJO powered by Vaporesso” among the brands it represents as a Master Distributor.
The terminology used across these sources varies slightly—“DOJO by Vaporesso” and “DOJO powered by Vaporesso”—but both point to the close relationship between DOJO and VAPORESSO within the wider SMOORE business ecosystem.
What the Rebranding Means for Consumers and Retailers
For consumers, the most visible change will likely be the new handwritten-style DOJO logo and updated packaging.
Because the rollout is expected to happen gradually, existing products featuring the previous visual identity may remain in circulation alongside newer packaging for some time. This is normal during a global packaging transition and does not, by itself, indicate a change in the underlying product.
For retailers and distributors, the transition could mean updating storefront materials, product listings, promotional assets, and other brand-facing content as the new identity becomes available.
The change also gives DOJO an opportunity to establish a more consistent visual presence across different markets.
A Broader Brand Refresh
DOJO’s upcoming identity change appears to go beyond simply replacing its logo.
The simultaneous update of packaging, marketing materials, and digital assets indicates a broader effort to establish a refreshed and consistent brand presentation worldwide.
The new handwritten design is intended to give the brand a more energetic and authentic visual character, while the phased rollout should allow existing inventory and marketing materials to transition without requiring an immediate global replacement.
For now, the key confirmed development is the September 1, 2026 launch of DOJO’s new global visual identity. Further details about the design, rollout schedule, and the reported trademark issue may become clearer as DOJO, VAPORESSO, or SMOORE releases additional information.
